I once thought that simply being online was enough, but I soon realised the truth: growth doesn’t come from presence alone; it comes from a strategic approach. That realisation set me on my journey as a digital marketer.

Early Passion and Practical Foundations

From a young age, I was fascinated by creativity, storytelling, design, and the way brands connect with people. At the same time, I had a practical side, which led me to pursue a degree in B.Com with Computer Applications. Numbers and logic gave me a foundation, but I felt something was missing – a way to blend creativity with communication. That spark came alive when I began my digital marketing journey at CDA Academy.

But beyond tools, I learnt the importance of strategy. A boosted post doesn’t always mean results. A keyword-rich blog doesn’t guarantee ranking. That’s where the strategist mindset comes in –, knowing when to post, whom to speak to, how to test, and how to pivot when data doesn’t go your way.

Experimenting and Finding What Works

I noticed many businesses around me were full of passion but lacked structured digital strategies. Their marketing looked good on the surface but often missed direction. That’s when I started creating mock strategies, Instagram branding plans for boutiques, Google visibility ideas for homestays, and content calendars for small shops. Each project was an experiment, teaching me what worked, what didn’t, and why.

During my digital marketing journey, I learned that posting more doesn’t always bring results, and filling blogs with keywords doesn’t guarantee ranking. Real success comes from knowing who you’re speaking to, when to act, how to test, and how to adapt when the data says otherwise.
